My Article on Haggard and First-year Composition

I recently wrote about teaching H. Rider Haggard’s adventure novel She in our multimodal communication courses at Georgia Tech.  The piece has been featured on TECHStyle, a site sponsored by the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, which highlights essays about digital pedagogy and innovative teaching strategies.  I particularly enjoyed collaborating with a former student on the essay.  This student was willing to share her work in this format and was willing to answer my questions about the assignment and how it impacted the way she thought about the novel and multimodality.
